I'm Sami, a final-year Information Technology student at TAMK specializing in telecommunications and data networks.
Networking is the field I know best, and I’m actively studying it further. My next step is learning how to automate networks and infrastructure.
Cybersecurity is another area I enjoy. It’s not enough to know how to build systems. You also need to understand how to keep them secure.

Active Directory Project (Windows Server, Hyper-V & PowerShell)
Designed and deployed an Active Directory environment on Hyper-V. Configured a Domain Controller for centralized management of users, devices, DNS, and DHCP. Set up remote administration via Windows Admin Center, designed a logical OU structure with security-focused Group Policies, and automated routine tasks like bulk user and group creation with PowerShell scripts.

Home Network Security Project (Raspberry Pi & Docker)
Built a security environment for monitoring home network traffic. Deployed Suricata NIDS and EveBox dashboard in Docker containers, configured a managed switch SPAN port for traffic mirroring, implemented Pi-hole for DNS-level ad blocking, and isolated IoT devices into a dedicated VLAN segment.
